Google and DeepMind Cybersecurity Technical & Research Lead

We had the pleasure of welcoming Elie Bursztein to LIX for an enriching seminar on security and machine learning approaches. Elie Bursztein is Google and DeepMind AI cybersecurity technical and research lead. Additionally, his visit coincided with the 2024 Chemistry Nobel Prize award to the members of DeepMind for their work on AlphaFold.

He shared valuable insights on topics such as contrastive learning, data augmentation, and the use of time series in security systems. His visit also highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the field, while emphasizing the importance of collaboration between industry and academia.
